First I am off to Thailand and Vietnam for a month, then Wisconsin, then Germany (aka home), then Peace Corp in Cameroon for 27 months (Sept 2007 to Dec 2010) to work as a health volunteer - stories and pictures to come!

- be brief on the customs forms (ie put food not peanut butter)
- don't bother express mailing it
- use puffy envelopes not boxes
- always certify the package you are mailing
- a little insurance might be a good call

- tea
- crystal light packets
- music and movies
- books
- pictures
- candy - particularly chocolate from Germany and Haribo gummies and tootsie rolls
- any type of food you think can make the journey here (ie Easy Mac and granola bars)
- parmasean cheese and velvetta
- seasoning packets

Don't eat brain, Aubs.... I know you are up for trying anything, but enough is enough!
So glad to read your blog today (Saturday)just to know you did not get too sick from the shots.... which I assume were in the arm. I've been worred about you but have not been able to get through. My calls... on SKYPE... go straight to voice mail.
Anyway, I've talked to Court and she is starting to feel a little better thanks to lots of pain killers and a heating pad.
We are 35 days out from TELETHON 2009 and up to $71,000....

Love the pictures. Really having a hard time with the fact that you ate a brain. Yuck! But good of you to just do it to fit in w/ the culture (but seriously...what are they thinking?)
So we had the first nice weekend here in a while last weekend. Unfortunatley we were stuck in a gym both Sat. and Sun for Jensen's bball tourney. All good though...they took third.
I got a facebook so I can share pics w/ all who are not here. I tried to email but it kept coming back w/ an error. Did you change it?
Anyway...J-dog and I love you tons and tons. Both wondering how you are doing and wishing we could see you soon.

Seriously our mother is a goddess! She bought me all the Disney DVDs that are in the evil capitalist Disney vault and they will be here this week so I will make copies and send them to you! I hope they copy and then you can watch the Lion King, Aladdin (hehe always makes me think of Joey and his Lunch box commercial) Beauty and the Beast, and I broke down and bought my own copy of Ariel since you are keeping your captive in WI! I am going to work on getting you little foot! We will see, and I am going to be notified as soon as the Will Ferrell "Your Welcome America" HBO bush special comes out on dvd so I can get it and send it to you! Much much much love!
